Lee stated, in his own words that his secret to keep going, happiness and good mental health was the following :

I'm happiest when I'm working. If I'm not working, I feel like I'm wasting my time.”

It is this enjoyment in real purpose that gives our being a positive push in psychological health. Unlike Stress and hating what we do, enjoying purpose and doing what we were made to do actually energizes us.
Of course, if you suffer from fstigue, there are other options for you.

Alleged Diet

It is rumored that Stan cut his sugar intake, early on and ate a whole foods diet with lots of fish and poultry after moving to California. He enjoyed the fresh vegetables California had to offer, having grown up in NY after the depression era with limited access to luxury foods. His Jewish ancestry and neighborhood also enabled him to eat according to the jewish kosher dietary laws ( he had Romanian-born Jewish immigrant parents). His diet really took center stage after his operation in 2012 to install a pacemaker. (The primary purpose of a pacemaker is to maintain an adequate heart rate, either because the heart's natural pacemaker is not fast enough, or because there is a block in the heart's electrical conductive system).

It is said that his diet was very Mediterranean with fruits, vegetables, fish, nuts, legumes, rich in olives, yogurt, tomatoes, greens and herbs.

Usually an increase in Magnesium is also helpful after this type of operation.

Macular Degeneration

The Hollywood Reporter  recently reported that he had said "I am almost blind; I cannot see well at all"

A lawyer who prepared documents signed by Stan released a statement to People which read: "I knew, when Mr. Lee signed the Declaration, that he suffers from macular degeneration that makes it extremely difficult, if not impossible, for Mr. Lee to read documents.

What is macular degeneration ?

Macular Degeneration is the leading cause of vision loss, affecting more than 10 million Americans – more than cataracts and glaucoma combined.

At present, Macular Degeneration is considered an incurable eye disease.

How to avoid it ?

Choose a healthy diet. The antioxidant vitamins in fruits and vegetables contribute to eye health. Kalespinachbroccolipeas and other vegetables have high levels of antioxidants, including lutein and zeaxanthin, which may benefit people with macular degeneration.

Choose a good supplement with the vitamins and minerals the Eye Institute suggests.
