Emily Blunt Diet and Nutrition
Emily Blunt’s diet and workout was developed for her by the same trainer as has trained Jessica Biel, and Jennifer Garner and other celebs.
Her diet is kick started with a good carbohydrate breakfast, grain proteins and probiotics for lunch and dinner. She even limits herself to one cup of coffee a day.
“My new healthy regime is basically trying to cut out things like pizza. I’m working out, and I’m cutting out pizza.”
Here is sample diet plan for Blunt:
MEALS (BASED ON THE JASON WALSH’S PROGRAM)
• Porridge with blackberries
• Brown toast (gluten-free if possible) with peanut butter
• Green tea
• Tuna salad with low fat dressing
• soup with a brown roll
• Vegetable lasagne with salad
• Salmon with steamed veg like broccoli
Her focus on is sustainability of her diet.
Blunt completely cut four things from her diet:
high-sodium snacks and
if it’s processed, she avoids it. Good rule to live by.
Blunt had to suffer eating minimally for the sake of a part, in 2011 for Adjustment Bureau. A role that required she eat an extremely low-calorie diet.
Blunt says she ate only carrots and almonds. While wonderfully nutritious foods on their own and as part of a properly balanced diet, we don’t agree that it’s a healthy approach.
Eating in moderation is her simple philosophy when it comes to food.
Good pizza with burrata cheese and basil and roast chicken and lasagna are her favs.
She is not only a great actress but apparently a good cook. Chicken soup is one of her signature dishes that she makes for husband John.
“The ginger kicks a cold in the teeth if you’re feeling under the weather.”, She says.
We definitely recommend Ginger.
Emily's Health Tips
For health tips she swears by Oregano Oil.
"I would say if you feel yourself coming down with a cold..You sort of just throw a few drops down there. It's disgusting, you burn your throat but I do tend to find it shortens the cold."
Emily Blunt is a DIY practioner when it comes to skincare (she told Allure Magazine) that she rubs her face with olive oil to get healthy, moisturized skin.
You could consider a supplement that offers both in one for your own personal routine.
